Magnavox had a reputation for quality of sound and quality of cabinets. This Windsor Imperial, built in 1948, certainly helped in establishing that reputation. The Drexel built, Chippendale style cabinet contained a record-player, AM/FM/Shortwave radio, and a television of RCA components. You could purchase the lower portion of the cabinet containing the radio/record player separately. The entire unit sold for about $1,700.
