Dry-Sink unit was part of the “Spirit of ’76” Collection. Built in 1974, the record player slides out. A dry sink was originally intended simply as a stand for a wash bucket. It gradually evolved into a beautiful and highly functional piece of furniture. This unit contains a stereo record changer, AM/FM radio, and 8-track player as well as two 10″ Woofers and two 3 1/2 inch Tweeters. The “folk art” decorations were derived from frakturs (illuminated manuscripts such as birth, baptismal, and marriage certificates) that were common among Pennsylvania Germans.
